Help Your Group Achieve Personal and Organizational Health Goals
Group participation/registration in MOVE 4 LIFE! is optional (individuals may register for free at any time). When you register your group name on the coordinator side, you can then send your participants to the personal MOVE 4 LIFE! side of the website to register as a participant under your group name. As your entire group begins to take simple steps to increasing their physical activity, you as the coordinator will be able to track their progress and acknowledge/reward them for their success. Whether your group's goal is to improve health, reduce risk of illness, or simply to have fun while boosting energy and morale, MOVE 4 LIFE! can help you reach that goal… and more.
TYPES OF GROUPS:
Worksite
MOVE 4 LIFE! is a low-cost, effective way to involve a large number of employees in a health promotion program that will have beneficial outcomes for both the individual and the organization. Studies show that people who are physically active manage stress better, sleep better and feel better. Active employees are likely to be healthier, miss work less often, be more productive, and keep health care costs down. Employers have found that MOVE 4 LIFE! is useful in reaching people who may not ordinarily be very active. Review the advantages and costs of each to decide which is best for your organization.
